Today I did a 5K for breast cancer awareness. I would love to share with you how quickly I ran in this race but unfortunately I didn't run, I walked. I had every intention of running and seeing how quickly I could do this race but there were 6,500 people at this race, which took place in Waikiki. The park that it went around is easy to access but they only blocked off one lane of the road, which needless to say, wasn't enough. There were people that ranged from children to adults, parents with strollers, and even those that were doing this in memory of someone and others who were survivors. It was an amazing morning and nice to be a part of something that is bigger than just me.
