"The Marines I have met around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale and the lowest morals of any group of any animals I have seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps." Eleanor Roosevelt
As the Secretary of the Navy states in his birthday message to the Corps:
“…an indisputable fact about the Corps: in every place, at every task, Marines do more than what is expected. Time and time again, you exceed your reputation as an ever-ready, ever-capable, victory-producing military force. Every day, you demonstrate why you are held in such high esteem by friends and such great fear by foes. You are truly the world’s premier expeditionary force.”
