There is a swing dance competition going on at Nashvilles and we competed in it!!! The song we danced to was Swing by Trace Adkins. We won the competition last Thursday with a first place win and a prize of a hundred dollars!!! The finals are on April 7 for a chance to win 500 dollars for first place. Wish us luck!!! Our roommate Alex was the second place winner and received 50 dollars. He won't be competing in the finals because he will be off island. It was alot of fun to be dancing again. We took a break for a while and decided it was time to get back into it. There are mini contests every Thursday night and the first and second place winners continue on to the finals. We are practicing and learning new moves, lots of bruises and bumps but completely worth it for a nice chunk of change just for doing something we enjoy!!
