Tony turned 22 on February 24 and we went to a nice dinner at Ruby Tuesdays with all of our friends! It was the middle of the week and the present I planned for him wasnt until Saturday. One of our friends brought a cupcake cake for him and we shared that at the restaurant. He was just happy to finally eat BBQ ribs!! He didnt really express wanting anything this year other than motorcycle shoes, which I gave to him early and he wanted to glue his butt to the motorcycle seat during the weekend. You guessed it, we rode the bike to dinner too!
On Saturday I took him to dinner and a show at the Marriott in Waikiki. It was entitled Pacific Swing Hawaii and was a Big Band USO Show with 1940's music and swing dancing. We LOVED it!!! The singing was great, the dancing was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun. Since it was military appreciation we were upgraded to the VIP seating, which was really nice of them to do and Tony got to stand up when they sang the Marine Hymn.
